Taichung Tourism. Taiwan] Feng Chia Night Market. A must-see for all things food, drink and shopping!

When travelling to Taichung, one of the most important things not to be missed is a trip to the Feng Chia Night Market, which is voted by the public as one of the "Top 10 Sightseeing Spots in Taichung City". The night market is open until 2:00 a.m., and it contains a wide variety of shops to satisfy different groups of consumers. Among them, the Devil's Chicken Chop and the Minglun Egg Cake are the most authentic delicacies that you can't afford not to eat.

Feng Chia Night Market is located at the side entrance of Feng Chia University, stretching from Wenhua Road to Fuxing Road. It is a large shopping area with many eateries, especially on Lane 20 of Feng Chia Road, which is about 300 feet long and lined with delicious food such as chicken fillet, large intestine wrapped with small intestines, cheese and yams, chicken feet jelly, carbon grilled pepper cake, etc. No one is the best, only the one that's more delicious! The queue was long, but in the midst of the chaos, we were able to buy the food we wanted to eat, and then buy a Taiwanese speciality drink, such as Shan Fan Yuan, Xian Cao, or Ai Yu, for only NT$30-50 a cup, which is really too good to drink!

Weekends are bound to be crowded, so if you want to shop in comfort, consider going on weekdays. But beware of the motorbikes that still run on the road between the restaurants and shops.

Feng Chia Night Market is a food paradise as well as a shopping paradise. Popular clothing, hair accessories, shoes and so on are cheap and of good quality, and once you enter a shop, it's easy to get into a state of oblivion, and it's not hard to walk out of the shop with a bag or two in your hand! As for whether you can kill the price, some shops can, depending on your bargaining power.

Feng Chia Night Market is very diversified, with entertainment and play areas such as doll clipping and basketball shooting. After shopping and before returning to the hotel, consider going for a massage to soothe your tired feet, which actually allows you to walk more during the journey.
