This time I stayed at the Taiwan Food Fair for four days.Da-An Hall at Home HotelHome Hotel is a brand of hotels with the original concept of ”home”, hoping to create a warm and happy feeling for travellers to "return home to Taiwan". The Daan Hotel has inherited this spirit and injected a lot of aboriginal elements into its design, using a lot of wooden furniture and decorations. The hotel features the most popular M.I.T. (Made in Taiwan) brand of furniture, accessories and food, and the whole hotel is filled with Taiwanese taste and human touch, which is in line with the concept of "Taiwan's home".
Hotel Appearance and Facilities
Entering the hotel, I was attracted by the uniquely designed lobby, full of Aboriginal characteristics, where the M.I.T. brand products used in the hotel are displayed and introduced in detail. I stepped on the beautiful inkstone floor, as if I were travelling home on a rocky mountain path, and walked towards the lift that would take me to the reception desk on the fifth floor for check-in, where I was greeted by the heart-warming words on the wall - "Welcome Home".

After stepping out of the lift and passing through a corridor filled with stars, you finally arrive at the stylish and simple counter lobby. There are chairs shaped like stones in the river for guests to relax, the floor pattern is like a flowing stream, and the ceiling is covered with aboriginal beams, representing the roof of the house.

In terms of facilities, there is an Italian restaurant “al sorriso” on the ground floor of the hotel, which means smile in the original language. The chef has worked in overseas star Michelin restaurants and has received rigorous training, so the standard of food and beverage is not bad. There is also the Villa.like Spa and a multi-functional conference room for meetings and events.

Room Facilities and Hygiene
My room is a standard original room located on the 15th floor of the East Wing. The corridors on each floor are decorated with welcoming artwork, the carpet is designed with totems from the aboriginal people, and the room number on the wall is also a hidden symbol of the aboriginal Atayal people.
The rooms are medium-sized, clean and well-designed, with excellent lighting and complete facilities, including free wired/wireless high-speed internet, multinational power plugs, 42-inch LED TVs, free minibars, mini-fridges, safes, electric kettles, multifunctional audio-visual output panels, and scented water-oxygen concentrators. Furniture and accessories are all MIT brands, such as Kindly Made furniture, LED chandeliers by meta design, table lamps by TROO, cups by Cocera, and handmade writing utensils by Qiyu, to name a few. The king-size bed is comfortable and spacious, with a spring mattress made by Taiwan's 60-year-old De Tai, and the pattern of the small pillows is also full of aboriginal colours.
The bathroom is bright and clean, with wet and dry segregation. The toilet is a sensor-activated TOTO toilet, and the folding hairdryer is powerful enough. My personal toiletries are Tea Seed Church's Tea Glycoside Natural Extract Bath Products and Fancalay's wonderful Taiwan Cypress Natural Handmade Soap, which is very fragrant.

The soundproofing of the room is very good, even though the hotel is located in a busy traffic road, there is no noise problem at all. With the open view from the window, you can stay quietly in bed in the morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over Taipei City, and the warm sunlight penetrates into the room, which is very comfortable.
