When we came to central Taiwan in 2007, we didn't have much time to visit Sun Moon Lake. At the end of March, we decided to stay at the "Crystal Jade Hall" in Sun Moon Lake for one day so that we don't have to spend too much time on the day basket. "The Jingsawa Hotel is located in the first row of the lake shore of Sun Moon Lake, which is known as the "Lover's Lake", next to the Ida Shao Pier, with a perfect location and a great view.
During the day, you can visit the bustling Ida Shaw Pier for shopping and gourmet dining, and at dusk, you can stay quietly by the window to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the lake. After dinner, when the crowds are gradually dispersing, you can take a walk in the tranquil Sun Moon Lake and listen to the sound of the lake water lapping against the pier. "From 2009 to 2015, JINGZE HUB was invited to join the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) organisation, and is now a full member of the Luxury Hotels Group (LHG). It is the only hotel in the same region to have been selected for this international travel brand alliance, which further confirms the status of JINGZE HUB. Hotel Appearance and Facilities
As its name suggests, the Crystal Zephyr Club uses many architectural elements such as crystal, glass and mirrors. Several large crystal chandeliers hang in the small welcoming lobby, while two large mirrors near the service counter and a polished crystal floor enhance the visual effect of the space. There is also a famous autograph hanging in the lobby, proving that many celebrities have stayed here.
The hotel has a number of entertainment facilities, such as a DVD rental service in the lobby and a mini-bar where guests can come to relax at night. Early in the morning and late in the evening, the view of Sun Moon Lake is at its best. The hotel has an aerial observation deck where guests can enjoy a 180 degree view of the unforgettable lake and mountain scenery. The hotel also caters for those who like to exercise, with a small gym on the top floor, as well as a dressing room and showers that can be used immediately after a sweaty workout. Other facilities such as a multi-functional conference room and a concierge reception centre offer travel advice, ferry ticket booking, flight schedule enquiry, car rental, self-service coin-operated laundry and dry cleaning, and airport transfers. The hotel also offers wireless Internet access.
Room Facilities and Hygiene
"JINGZAI HOTEL is a one-berth, two-dinners system, where you can enjoy breakfast and dinner on the same day during your stay. There are 20 mansion-style rooms in the hotel. Each room is spacious and well-equipped. The design is based on simple light colours, with good lighting, and some glass and mirrors are used to make the rooms brighter and more comfortable.
The bathrooms are open-plan, separated only by a piece of floor-to-ceiling glass, with wet and dry segregation. The toilet is a sensor-activated, cure-free toilet with a shower cubicle and an easy-to-operate hydrotherapy Jacuzzi bathtub, and the bath products are aromatic European imported shower gels and shampoos, which are most suitable for travellers who have spent the whole day shopping to relax and enjoy themselves. After showering, you can also watch a film on the comfortable beds with the in-room 40″ LCD TV and DVD projector.
Breakfast is buffet style with a good selection. Dinner is a French dinner in the Lakeview Restaurant, consisting of four starters with a choice of four main courses, very rich and tasty.
Accessibility
Whether you take the train or the high-speed rail, you can transfer passengers to Sun Moon Lake Station or Puli Station, and then the hotel will have a special car to take you there. There is also free car parking for self-drive guests, and luggage transfer service is available from the car park to the hotel.
The hotel is located right next to the Idasho Ferry Terminal and is close to all major attractions, so it's very convenient to take a boat trip to Sun Moon Lake or a 10-minute walk to the Nine Tribes Cultural Village to catch the Sun Moon Lake cable car. There is also the Idasho Ferry Terminal shopping street and many restaurants in the vicinity, making it a very busy place to visit. In addition, you can easily take a cycling tour around the lake or visit the Wenwu Temple, Peacock Garden, Sun and Moon Springs, Xuanzang Temple, Xuanguang Temple, Shuisheba Weir Park and other attractions.
