I have never been to Qingjing Farm, and the sunrise at Hohhuan Mountain can be said to be one of the most important attractions on my Check List of Taiwan. Last month, during my trip to Taiwan, although the weather in Qingjing was not good, and the sunrise was not yet seen, but because of this, I was able to stay in this dreamy European cottage, "Seeing the Sunny Mountain Villa", and enjoyed the time there.
Seeing Clear Villa" is the first to be opened in Qingjing and is located in a very historical mountain villa within the Qingjing Farm, which is situated in the middle part of Qingjing in an excellent location with excellent scenery. In the sixties, some of the "Layi" or "Dai", who originally lived on the Yunnan-Myanmar-Thai-Lao border, migrated to the Qingjing area to develop the Qingjing Farm, and the male and female owners of "Seeing Ching" are the descendants of the Han Chinese and the "Dai". "Seeing Clear" is the original name of Qingjing Farm, which was changed by the Japanese during the Japanese Occupation, meaning to look at the beautiful scenery from a high altitude. There are several reasons why the lodge has adopted the old name of Clearland Farm: firstly, the lodge is located in the midst of high mountains and has a magnificent view, which is in line with the meaning of "Seeing Clear". The second reason is to commemorate the difficult history of the elders in opening up this mountain forest. The third reason was to witness the love between the man and the woman who built the "Seeing Clear" cottage.
Hotel Outlook and Facilities of "Seeing the Clear" Hotel
The setting of See Clear Villa is like a paradise in the world. There are three main pavilions, including "See Clear Garden", "Lai Fu Jiu Pavilion" and "Hashimatsu Pavilion", each of which is very close to each other, and is mainly built with logs in a romantic European style, with each of the pavilions offering excellent views, but with completely different characteristics.
The "Mizuharu Garden" can be regarded as the main building of the lodge, doubling as the check-in counter for "Mizuharu Garden" and "Hashimatsukan", and also housing the "Yunnan Rongyi Style Restaurant". The Lai Fu Jiao is a European Tudor-style chalet with lush green mountain views and, if you're lucky, a dreamy afternoon view of the sea of clouds. The Hashimatsukan, where I'm staying tonight, is a Scandinavian-style villa tucked away in a fairytale forest, surrounded by a poetic garden of dozens of larch and maple trees.

See Clear Villa" has outdoor basketball court, outdoor badminton court and other recreational facilities, it is really nice to have fun under the beautiful high mountains and blue sky and white clouds. You can also visit the open-air restaurant or café at "Lai Fu Jiao", where you can enjoy afternoon tea or read a book while gazing at the magnificent peaks of the Hohuan Mountain Range. For those who prefer shopping, there are Japanese-style grocery shops and Shinhan Tea, a tea shop with its own tea factory and tea plantation, where you can buy some as souvenirs at home. The lodge has an observation deck at a moderate height, where you can take in the magnificent view of the mountains.
"Room facilities and hygiene of "Hashimatsukan
This trip, we were arranged to stay in the "Hashimatsukan", which has the best view and each room has its own balcony. The room was designed in European retro style, spacious and comfortable, with original wood flooring and furniture, elegant chandelier, and a princess bed with white veil in the middle, which was very romantic with the soft lighting. The bed set was big enough and comfortable, with soft feather quilt at night, and the beds were also heated with electricity, which was very thoughtful and considerate.
The bathroom was wet and dry, with a shower cubicle and a wall-mounted airer, and basic personal toiletries were provided. It wasn't a large area, but it was hygienic and clean.
There are two chairs and a small coffee table outside the independent balcony, a beautiful environment, guests can drink tea while enjoying the continuous mountain scenery. Overall, the rooms are simple but complete, and the decor is warm and romantic, very suitable for couples.

Accessibility
Nantou Bus (Cuifeng and Songgang routes) from different parts of Taiwan can be reached by getting off at ”Miaocheng Villa Station”, and there are also various kinds of sightseeing buses available, which is very convenient. There is a spacious outdoor car park and an indoor car park at Lai Fu Jiao, which is convenient for guests travelling by car. Guests can book the lodge's nine-passenger car free of charge for travelling between Wushe and Cheonggyeong, as well as to neighbouring attractions such as Green Grass Garden, Little Swiss Garden and the National Palace. It is also very convenient to watch the sunrise from Mount Hohhuan. There is a 7-11 convenience store right next to the hotel, as well as small shops, open-air restaurants, and cafes in the neighbourhood.

A. You can take the Taiwan Tourism Bus e-go to Qingjing Farm, meet the tour bus in front of the East Third Gate of Taipei Railway Station, get off at Qingjing Farm Miaocheng Station and you can see the farm. (Sightseeing bus departs at 6:50 a.m. and departs at 7:00 a.m.)
B. Take the Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) to Taichung, take the THSR Express at Exit 6 of the THSR and get off at Puli Terminal, transfer to the Nantou Bus (Cuifeng and Songgang routes), and get off at the ”Seeing Mountain Villa Station”, where you can see the villa.
C. Take a bus (Kuo-Kuang Bus) to Puli Terminal, transfer to Nantou Bus (Cuifeng and Songgang routes), and get off at ”Miaocheng Villa Station”, where you can see the villa.

Departure of Taichung High Speed Rail:
A. Take the ”Nantou Bus” from Exit 6 of Taichung High Speed Rail Station to Miaocheng Mountain Villa. There are about six flights a day, the fare is about NT272, and the journey takes 130 minutes. Get off at the ”Miaocheng Mountain Villa Station”, and you will be able to see the mountain villa.
(If you don't get a direct bus, you can take a bus to ”Puli” and then transfer to Qingjing Farm at Puli. The frequency is limited)
B. Take the OK BUS at Exit 6 of Taichung High Speed Rail Station to reach the mountain villa directly. There are two buses a day: 10:30am and 15:00pm, the fare is NT450/person, the journey takes about 90 minutes, and you need to book in advance!!!!
Departure from Taichung Airport:
A. If the flight number is GE379/AE1820/UO162/B7-2520 or KA490, you can take OK BUS (departing at 12:00pm and 14:00pm respectively) and get on the bus at the Visitor Centre, NT$550 per person, the journey is about 2 hours, advance reservation is required!
B. You can also take Taichung Bus No. 69 to Taichung High Speed Rail Station after arriving at Taichung Airport, and take the OK BUS at Exit No. 6, departing at 15:00 and arriving directly at the lodge.
From Kaohsiung:
You can take a bus to Puli from Taichung Bus opposite Taichung Railway Station, get off at Puli Terminal, transfer to Nantou Bus (Cuifeng and Songgang routes), get off at ”Miaocheng Villa Station”, and you will see the villa.
Kaohsiung High Speed Rail departs:
You can take the Express High Speed Rail at Taichung High Speed Rail Exit 6 and get off at Puli Terminal, transfer to Nantou Bus (Cuifeng and Songgang routes), and get off at ”Miaocheng Mountain Villa Station”, where you can see the villa.
Departure from Hualien:
A. You can take the OK BUS to the lodge at NT$1500 per person. You need to sign up in advance and take the bus from Hualien Train Station (the front station), and then get off at the entrance of the lodge after passing through Taroko and other scenic spots. (Departure time: 8:30am. Arrival time: 17:00-17:30)
B. You can take the Hualien Bus to Dayuling, and the lodge will send a car to pick you up and drop you off (extra charge).
