One thing that still impresses me about the Shanghai HSBC Golf Championships that I visited last fortnight was the number of cute smiles at the event, because in addition to the Tiger woods and other professionals' matches mentioned earlier, the pro-am matches, and the experience area for tourists to have fun, I still found a lot of youngsters playing, and they were not playing, nor were they playing in a tournament. They are neither playing nor competing.

In fact, they have participated in the HSBC China Junior Golf Programme's summer and winter camps in the past and received training from the organisation.

When it comes to the HSBC China Junior Golf Programme, it's a long term and sustainable initiative to nurture some of China's most talented young players and children through the Champions League, and to provide schools with a variety of golf equipment to help them make golf one of the basic sports in their schools. The programme also provides schools with a wide range of golf equipment to help make golf one of the basic sports in their schools, and according to information, has benefited around 100 organisations so far. HSBC has done a great job in this endeavour. ~~~~ Kudos! I hope it can be extended to young people in Hong Kong in the future.
