Have you decided what to eat tonight? Let me tell you about the dinner I had on my own a couple of days ago. These ‘wine-lees soft-boiled eggs’, infused with the aroma of wine, are quite distinctive; the runny yolk is silky smooth and full of eggy flavour. It’s a simple dish that really showcases the chef’s skill. I also tried the restaurant’s signature ‘Braised Pork Belly with QQ Noodles’. The QQ noodles are the result of careful collaboration between the owner and the noodle factory; they’re rich in noodle flavour and wonderfully springy.
Although there are still several types of noodles to choose from in the restaurant, I really like this one. I’ve heard that this place was once featured in the Michelin Guide; it’s reasonably priced, so it’s worth a try. The restaurant can only seat around 22 people.
