【Taipei Tourism. Taiwan] EVA VIP Lounge The Infinity at Taoyuan Airport

It's a bit sad to see the end of my little trip to Taiwan for a few days. I arrived at the Taipei Taoyuan Airport slowly, and after checking in and going through customs, I was looking forward to walking to The INFINITY, the EVA Premium Lounge in Terminal 2.

I've heard that The INFINITY has been awarded by SKYTRAX as one of the "Top 10 Best Business Class Lounges in the World in 2016", and it's true to its name! The lounge is very spacious, with plenty of seating, and the design is quite stylish, a bit like walking into a high class bar, but I don't care, the most important thing is to see what's good to eat!

I was not disappointed, there was a great selection of food and a lot of it was local Taiwanese traditional food. Taiwan's groundnuts are really sweet and delicious! Pick yourself a piece of the fattest pork and sandwich it on a karibao and eat it with a bowl of hot bamboo shoot soup, it's really very happy!

On the Western side, apart from the usual salad bar, bread and spaghetti dishes, there is also a hot dog machine where you can make your own sizzling hot dogs to eat.

There's also a wide selection of drinks and alcohol, so of course you'll want to start off with a glass of Camus XO Cognac when you're here! If you don't drink, there are also Taiwanese drinks such as Apple Cider. Ladies' favourite is probably the Taiwanese pastries, cheesecake and haagen dazs ice cream.

Apart from the food, the lounge is also well-equipped with four well-equipped showers, a business centre with three computers and multifunction printers, and plenty of universal charging plugs and USB holes. I was able to enjoy my meal while using the smooth WiFi to organise my travel photos and wait for my flight.

Last but not least, I would like to thank EVA Air for sponsoring the air tickets and lounge arrangement for this small trip, which was a great way to end the trip.
