Shanghai Tourism. China] Golf Learning Experience, Shanghai HSBC Golf Championships

This past Saturday morning, I played Indoor Golf Simulator with my Blogger friends in a private clubhouse. Although this is not my first time to play Indoor Golf Simulator, it's not much different from the first time I played it, because I am still clumsy to play it. Luckily, a professional coach was invited to guide us how to play golf. Luckily, I invited a professional coach to guide us how to play golf so that we won't make a big mistake.
When it comes to Indoor Golf Simulator, it's the one pictured below, with a large screen showing computer simulated environments such as trees, bunkers, greens, and so on, all of which appear to be very well-designed, and very similar to the live environment, all of which are scenic and beautiful.

Talking about the demo on that day, the instructor firstly explained some of the golf terminology and the names of the clubs and other tools, and then explained how to dress if you are really playing golf on the course, which in fact is the most basic thing to do is to put on a pair of ordinary casual shoes with studs, because in the real course there are a lot of grass, and those grasses can be slippery sometimes, and a pair of shoes with studs can prevent you from slipping. And the costume should be a pair of ripped trousers, three-boned shorts or a pair of ordinary trousers can be, the upper body can be a simple polo shirt, which is already a set of neat golf clothing, so if you have seen my brother, then think about it, you will know that my brother in a hipster Tee + jeans is cut to the bottom of the wrong wrong wrong. Hahahahaha!
After talking about clothing, the instructor introduced the golf clubs, and let us know what kind of clubs we should use to hit the ball, and the difference between Wood, S, 7, etc. For example, to hit the ball farther off the tee, we would use Wood, which is the biggest and thickest club. For example, on the tee shot, if we want to hit the ball farther away, we will use a Wood, which is the biggest and thickest club. When you get closer, you will use an S-iron, a 7-iron, and so on.

After talking about the clubs, it was time to teach us the correct golf posture. The instructor used a video camera to record our swings and movements, and then used a computer installed with professional golf software to input the video of our shots, and then compared them with those of celebrities such as Tiger Woods to analyse the differences in the trajectory, posture, and angle of the swing, as any slight mistake would affect the direction of the golf ball. This is also the most difficult part of learning golf, as it is extremely difficult for my crippled and sickly body to co-ordinate with the whole body!

Later, the coach shared the scoring system of the tournament and learnt that an official golf tournament would involve 18 holes, and while a par 72 is the norm, it is not uncommon for a beginner to have to use 140 to 150 strokes (I may have to use 200 strokes!). If you finish with less than 100 strokes, you are already at a certain level.

To sum up, although I only played golf in the simulator, I could experience the details of each move and how the wind direction, wind speed, distance and obstacles would affect the accuracy of the shot. Although I only played in the simulator for two hours, I was able to learn a lot about golf terminology and knowledge.

this yearWGC-HSBC Golf Champions 2010 HSBC Champions Tournamentwas held in Shanghai from 4 to 7 NovemberSheshanThe event will be held at the International Golf Club and will feature some of the world's best players such as Hong Kong's familiar Tiger Woods and Paul CaseyAnd so on.
What's even more exciting is that I've been lucky enough to be invited to Shanghai (yes, Shanghai again) to watch the world's top golfers compete in this tournament, and I'll be attending a private, off-limits dinner for the press. So as you can see, I've been cramming my Golf knowledge lately in the hope that I'll know more about the tournament and learn more, so keep an eye out for me atSina Weibo, Chinese web portal for microbloggingand here's an update.
