A retro-themed ice cream parlour that prides itself on using Hokkaido 3.6% milk and halal beef, the interior is adorned with records signed by singers and posters covered in celebrity autographs; there is also a guestbook for stars to sign. The menu mainly features dishes such as scrambled egg on toast and pasta with soup.
It turns out the owner used to work at Huaxing Records; that era instilled in him a passionate spirit and left him with unforgettable memories of his youth, which is why he named the café “Huaxing”—and it is precisely this connection that has attracted many celebrities and public figures to visit. The shop’s pork knuckle sandwich, kaya toast and buttered pork are all among its specialities.
